This corded chainsaw from Makita draws 1,800 Watts giving it excellent cutting capacity. It has many features previously only found in professional grade chainsaws, including an electric brake and an automatic chain oiler. The automatic oiler takes a lot of the guesswork out of keeping the chain lubricated, meaning you only need to keep the onboard 200ml oil tank filled and the automatic oiler does the rest. The chain operates at a speed of 14.5 metres per second, and the tension on the chain can be easily adjusted without needing tools. Due to the UC3541A being corded, it makes much less noise than an equivalent petrol machine, letting you use it places where there may be noise restrictions.
