The STIHL KMA 80 R is part of the AK Homeowner Battery System and is compatible with AK batteries. It is made with the same durable components as the gas-powered KM 56 RC-E and works with 14 optional attachments that are interchangeable between both KombiMotors. Featuring a brushless motor for a virtually maintenance-free experience and high RPMs for powerful performance, the KMA 80 R is built for efficiency.
The KMA 80 R Kombi Powerhead is the first battery-powered addition to the STIHL AK System, brings versatility and adaptability to your yard maintenance tasks. Compatible with existing KM attachments, excluding the FSB-KM Curved Shaft Trimmer, this KombiMotor is equivalent to the gas-powered KM 56 RC-E, providing comparable power.
Built for a wide range of yard maintenance tasks, this powerhead features an adjustable front handle for 360-degree rotation, ensuring comfort during use. The Throttle Trigger Interlock requires depression before activation, enhancing safety.
Equipped with an efficient STIHL Electric Motor, this powerhead is lightweight, compact, and demands minimal maintenance. The motor delivers low noise levels and reduced vibration, making it ideal for noise-sensitive environments.
Safety is prioritized with the Retaining Latch, preventing unintentional starts when the battery is inserted. The Loop Handle (R) offers adjustable support and control, accommodating gloved hands comfortably.
